We also collect basic technical information (like pages visited and general location) to keep the platform working well.

2. How we use it

We use your information to connect you with institutes you enquire about, show you relevant nearby listings, verify institute ownership claims, process payments for paid plans, and improve ClassHud's search and recommendations over time.

3. Mobile number & OTP

We use One-Time Passwords (OTP) sent to your mobile number to verify student accounts, institute claim requests, and lead enquiries. Your number is used only for this verification and for the institutes you choose to contact - we do not sell phone numbers to third parties.

4. Sharing with institutes

When you submit an enquiry or apply for a job listed by an institute, the details you provide (name, phone, email, message or résumé) are shared with that specific institute so they can respond to you. We do not share your details with any other institute you have not contacted.

5. Analytics & browsing activity

Like most websites, ClassHud records anonymous browsing activity - pages viewed, time spent, and general location - to understand how the site is used and to power features like "Institutes Near You". This data is used in aggregate and to improve your experience; see our Cookie Policy for details on the small files this uses.

6. Data security

We store passwords and OTPs securely and restrict access to personal data to systems and staff who need it to operate ClassHud. Payments are processed through our secure payment gateway partner - we do not store your full card details on our servers.

7. Your choices

You can update your profile information at any time from your student or institute dashboard. To request deletion of your account or data, contact us using the details below and we'll act on your request as required by law.

8. Children's privacy

ClassHud is intended for use by students, parents and institute staff. Where a student is a minor, we expect a parent or guardian to be involved in account creation and any enquiries submitted.
